Lehrveranstaltungsevaluationen: Wozu und Wie? – Input & offener Q&A

Responsible contact: Emily Bauske, Quality and Programme Development Department

Place and time:  3.00 to 4.30 pm | building 22A, room 111

In a brief presentation followed by a Q&A session, we will explore the following topics, among others: How does the student evaluation of courses at OVGU (excluding the FWW) work? What options are available to teachers, faculties, and students? What are the benefits, and what are the limitations?

The goal is to foster dialogue: On the one hand, we want to answer your questions and clarify any points of confusion. On the other hand, the questions raised can themselves serve as a starting point for improving the teaching evaluations at OVGU.

AI in Teaching and Learning: A Dialogue Between Students and Faculty
AI has long been a reality in everyday academic life. But when does its use enhance learning, and when is the use of AI less effective? Following a brief introduction, you will discuss specific key questions in groups: How is AI currently being used? Where are the uncertainties? What do faculty members expect, and what do students want? This workshop on Teaching Day brings students and faculty together to discuss these questions through dialogue. The results will be collected live in Padlets—initially separately for students and faculty—and will then form the basis for a joint discussion.
